Sask Parks offer a variety of engaging programs for all ages. Take a look at what they are and what people think! Programs are available:

Observatory – public programs Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday (closed Monday & Wednesday).

Daily interpretive programs until September long weekend.

Art in the Park programs continue until September long weekend.

Perseids Meteor Shower and Star Party

Look to the sky over the next few nights and you may just witness streaking meteors lighting up the sky. Of Course it is better in a Dark Sky Preserve like the Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park! Check out the link below for more info on the event.

The Sask Summer Star Party happens this weekend:

Thurs. Aug. 13 – Living Skies Lecture Series at amphitheatre

Fri. Aug 14 – Public Star gazing at observatory with special guest presenters from the Star Party

Sat. Aug. 15 – Public Star gazing at observatory with special guest presenters from the Star Party

June News - summer is here!

Come Celebrate Canada's Birthday and stay a while!

  • July 1st come celebrate Canada Day with us. Lots of happenings for the whole family. Here’s a teaser; delicious pancake breakfast, face painting and bike decorating for the kids, visit by the Red Serge from the Maple Creek Detachment
  • There’s still a campsites available for July and August. Campers can check the online reservation system for new campsites that become available at www.saskparks.goingtocamp.com or by phoning the Call Centre at 1-855-737-7275   

 

NOTICE: Valley Trail and Ridge Run Trail are closed until further notice due to aggressive nesting Goshawk in the area. We love our wildlife and respect mother nature’s way of telling us to stay away.
